A Dental Implant may be the solution.

The Advantages of Dental Implants include:

Replacing teeth that have been lost without damaging or negatively affecting nearby teeth.

If properly looked after, they aesthetically replace teeth, that will look as good as or better than the original.

There are very few medical conditions that preclude the placement of dental implants.

The three main limitations are:

• Patients that smoke - we do not place Dental Implants in patients that currently smoke. Sorry it's time to give up.
• Bone quantity and quality. Without bone we have nothing to place the implants in. Our Cone Beam Computerised Tomograph machine (3D X-rays) will shows us what you have!
• Patient Oral Hygiene - Dental implants are not place and forget. They need to be looked after.

• Fed up with having to be careful what you choose on the menu?
• Wish that you could feel the roof of your mouth again?
• Do you have to be careful when talking  or singing that your dentures don't fly out?

Options include:

• Implant retained dentures, they seamlessly click into precision attachments. They are removable for ease of cleaning. Full or partial.
• Implant supported bridge or bridges can be a way of restoring larger gaps or complete archways.

We always have options to temporarily replace current dentures or adjust them to accommodate the initial implant placement.
